Digital Workflow & Archiving Workshop

Description:

In this workshop we will use Epson Scanners to learn the process of digitizing analog photography. We will go over step by step procedure of using Epson scanners to create digital files that are the correct file color profile, image size, and file type. Once the students are comfortable with scanning, we will move into file management. This workshop will be utilizing Adobe Bridge, along with Photoshop to create a file that is ready for web or print. Helping students create a scalable file organization system will allow for easy access in the future and make for a more efficient work-flow. *Requirements/Needs: Students must have basic knowledge of Photoshop. BRING: Items you want to scan, negs/slides in any format and flat artwork/prints and a hard-drive for saving files. You will walk away with high-resolution archival image.
