Urban & Landscape Artistic Adventure

Description:

Students will explore both the urban and rural landscapes-the man-made canyons of the city as well as the natural canyons of Marin Co. Our locations will be: Rodeo Beach, Areas of focus will be the use of light, shadow in developing strong compositions, framing and leading lines, in diverse environments. Work created in the field with be used to create a portfolio and will be used in discussion and shared/reviewed, in the classroom portion of this course.

*Prerequisite: Camera proficiency required. DSLR/CSC camera required. Tripod optional. Details on this course and location maps will be emailed prior to class. First class meets at Harvey Milk Photo Center. *Please note the field portion could be physically demanding.
