The Marin Headlands

Description:

In this course students will learn to create a cohesive series of photographs on the Marin Headlands. Two class sessions will be spent at the headlands and two sessions will be spent at the photo center. A large portion of class time will be spent on constructive criticism as well as discussion of successful contemporary and historical landscape photography. At the completion of the class students will walk away with a collection of images that represent their personal vision.

*Prerequisite: Must be proficient with a digital or analog camera and own a tripod and cable release. Students must have a strong proficiency in camera functions. Work must be presented as a physical print as that will be a key component of the critique process. The photo center will offer discounted printing rates for this course.
