FACULTY PROFILE: RAPHAEL VILLETCourse Topics: Zine Making
Raphael Villet is a 35mm photographer raised in San Francisco. He has exhibited his work at the Oakland Museum of California, SF City Hall, Adobe Books, and has self published many zines and books. His work was first published by Hamburger Eyes of San Francisco in 2011. His zines are archived in many collections including at The International Center for Photography in New York and Printed Matter of NYC. The art world scares him, but the world of sharing ideas and art enthralls him. He is enthusiastic about self-publishing zines and will teach “Zine Making. (Hand made books)” in the Fall at the Harvey Milk Photo Center.
