Painting With Light

Forget all that you know about photography and enter a world of flowing light and spectral elements. With the flick of a wrist or a run through the park, you too can paint with paint. Join us, as demonstrate how to build cheap lighting tools such as: light sabers, stencils and twirling LEDs. With these simple tools, we will show you techniques that harness the power of long exposure. From creating whimsical light trails, spirals and orbs, to isolating elements from people to buildings, the possibilities are limited only by your imagination. This workshop is for students with a flair for the experimental and the bizarre.

*This class will include (one 11 x 14) digital print.

*Pre-Requisites: Digital SLR/CSC Camera, Medium & Wide Angle Lens, Tripod, Camera Remote, Laptop with LR or PS installed and your Imagination – Light painting materials will be built and provided on location.
