Intro to High Dynamic Range Photography


Learn how to shoot realistic landscapes with this popular HDR technique capturing multiple images with up to five exposure values of a single scene and assembling them into one final image. The first class will meet at a TBD location where you will learn the basics of HDR, when this technique is needed, camera set up, and how to meter, adjust and shoot. You will learn how to use Photomatix Pro to assemble and retouch your final images. Required: DSLR or mirrorless camera, tripod, remote/cable release, ND filter. Familiarity with camera’s manual settings as this is not a class on how to use your camera. Details of the class will be emailed to registered students.
